Youth in Malawi have embarked on job creation for themselves and fellow youths. Jobs for Youth project in the Ministry of Youth, is helping the youth in the country to manage well their businesses or establish own businesses instead of being employed.
A good number of these youth who have gone through what they call incubation program by the Jobs for Youth project are doing well in their businesses. Though they have challenges such as capital, market for products and others, these youth are employing fellow youths hence creating the much needed jobs.
The youth are calling upon government to assist them with capital and markets for their products such as farm produce.
